This is the third movie in the Mission Impossible series. Tom Cruise has retired from the Impossible Mission Forces and is about to marry this girlfriend Michelle Monagan. In the mean time, a weapons dealer has kidnapped a former subordinate of Tom: Keri Russell. He is asked by the agency to intervene and rescue her as well as track the secret weapon being dealt, known as "Rabbit Foot". He chases the dealer all the way to Shanghai with the help of his team amid some "impossible" tasks using high tech gadgets. However, after that he is entangled into a web of treacheries and double crosses and he starts doubting his superiors. In the end, he has to untangle the net and also save his fiancee from life threat....

Continuity: After Ethan shoots down the jet on the bridge, it is seen blowing up and the helicopter swings away. A few seconds later, the helicopter is back to its normal position as if it never occurred. (more)
