They seem to take pleasure in scaring and shocking shy Walter. According to popular rumor, the two men are hiding a great fortune. Walter isn't sure what to believe, but he does notice that his great-uncles have a steady supply of money coming from somewhere. Goofs: Anachronisms: While Hub is fighting the teens in the diner there is a coke machine in the background with the modern logo on it (should be all red with white Coca Cola lettering). (more) Trivia: Haley Joel Osment was contracted without knowing which studio would make the movie and who were the other main leads. This was against standard Hollywood practice and surprised Eugene Osment (Haley's father and manager) at first, but he agreed to "use" his son to get the remainder of the cast and the studio. (more) Filming Locations: Austin, Texas, USA (more) Quotes: Walter: What's wrong with him? Garth: Well, a man's body may grow old, but inside his spirit can still be as young and as restless as ever. Garth: And him - in his day, he had more spirit than twenty men. (more) Awards: 5 nominations (more)
