Mike McCoy (Elvis Presley) is a singer who also loves race cars and women. His band wants to be on TV. They have a tomboyish drummer named Les (Deborah Walley), who goes unnoticed by the men, and she has a crush on Mike. She eventually falls in love with a cop. A writer, Diane McBain (Diana St. Clair), is trying to research perfect men and ends up with a racing employer, Howard Foxhugh (Carl Betz). The employer’s very spoiled daughter, Cynthia (Shelley Fabares), is an heiress and also the woman that Mike might marry unless he decides to race her dad’s car instead. All three women had tried to marry Mike....
