Based on Stephen King's novel of the same title, this sci-fi/horror/thriller starts of with a group of young boys that make a promise. Many years later, after the indiscriminate hand of time has dealt its cards to the bunch, they gather back in an isolated hunting lodge to fulfill their promised tradition. While in their lodge in the woods of Maine, they stumble upon an otherworldly invasion that is “almost” controlled by the government. Interaction with the extraterrestrials at first, appears hopeless, especially once a plot to poison water supplies is uncovered. The movie holds to mayhem, terror, unexpected plot twists, a twist of fate, and a terrible secret....
