He hides out on the job as a sergeant at a remote precinct headquarters that is about to be closed permanently. Joining him there is Jasper (Brian Dennehy) who is about to retire and Iris (Drea de Matteo) as the sexy, seductive secretary. It's new years eve and they are having a private celebration with some co-workers when a prisoner bus carrying a cop killer named Bishop (Laurence Fishburne) and some other prisoners is diverted to his precinct due to back weather.
