Sly Stallone reprises his role as the underdog boxer from Philadelphia once again. Learning he has acquired brain damage from many years of boxing. However, Rocky spots a new phenom, Tommy Gunn (Tommy Morrison). As Rocky trains more with Tommy, the Italian Stallion becomes more alienated from his son. Gunn becomes an immediate success and Rocky lives his past dreams through his new apprentice. When a new promoter offers Gunn more money and a more lucrative lifestyle, Rocky feels abandoned by his son and his trainee. Confused Rocky revisits the mean streets (and dons his Rocky I) clothing to find his roots. Can Rocky show Tommy Gunn the errors of fast money and a fast lifestyle? Can Rocky resolve the problems at home? Not every problem can be solved within the squared circle of a boxing ring....
