“Robocop 3” is set amongst the backdrop of the continued building of New Detroit City by OCP, Omni Consumer Products who owns the local law enforcement as well. Planning to use the Eminent Domain laws to take away people’s homes, gains Robocop’s (Robert Burke) attention when they are force to leave by violence. Following a young girl named Nikko (Remy Ryan) both Robocop and his partner, Anne Lewis (Nancy Allen) are brought to meet the underground resistance. However OCP has other ideas as they send Commander Paul McDaggett (John Castle) to dispose of the resistance, which during the firefight, Lewis is killed and Robocop badly damaged. Joining the resistance, Robocop must work around an impending police strike as well as confront the mysterious android named Otomo (Bruce Locke) who is the Japanese Cybernetics Corporation’s new answer to the Robocop Project....

Trivia:
The RoboCop suit worn in the movie was originally built for RoboCop 2 (1990). Since Robert John Burke is taller than Peter Weller, he complained that wearing it was painful after a short time. (more)
