“Poltergeist 3” sees the difficult out come of the choice Carol Anne’s (Heather O'Rourke) parents had to make. Carol Anne has been sent to live with her Aunt Patricia (Nancy Allen) and Uncle Bruce (Tom Skerritt) in hopes to hide the young girl from the Beast. Uncle Bruce doesn’t believe the stories of the family and takes Carol Anne to find help in the form of Doctor Seaton (Richard Fire). But it’s too late for the undead forces have found Carol Anne are one by one taking her family. This brings Tangina (Zelda Rubinstein) to Carol Anne’s aid who even gives her life to protect the young girl but when Carol Anne is finally taken it’s left to Uncle Bruce, who doesn’t believe to save his niece from the clutches of the Beast....

Goofs:
Revealing mistakes: In the end sequence, you can see that one of the mirrors is faked, by having cables run floor to ceiling to simulate the seams. One of the actors bumps in the cable and you can see it vibrate. (more)

Trivia:
After filming of the scene where the cars chase Patricia and Bruce, the car's explosion set the entire set on fire, almost taking a crew member and a few cameras he was rescuing. When Heather O'Rourke showed up for filming the next day and heard about the incident from director Gary Sherman, she was relieved that no one was hurt. She then asked Sherman, "Did you get the shot?" (more)
