Bob Parr and his wife Helen used to be among the world's greatest crime fighters, saving lives and battling evil on a daily basis. Trivia:
The ending scene--with the enemy coming from the earth--is an homage to the Fantastic Four's first enemy, Mole Man. The scene seems to be based on the cover of the first Fantastic Four comic book cover, which was published in 1961. (more)
