Goofs: Incorrectly regarded as goofs: In the Netherfield Hall ballroom scene, Mary is seen behind Mr. Collins when Mr. Collins loudly introduces himself to Mr. Darcy; she is then immediately heard playing the piano in the next room. The director, Joe Wright accounts for this in the DVD commentary, where he states that this scene is the start of a montage of the events that occur at the ball, but was shot as one continuous shot.
