Tim Allen is a prosecutor who takes on a case against a teacher and activist, who is accused of setting fire to a factory and laboratory in protest of the animal testing done in the facility. Allen's daughter is a student of that teacher, and finds a dog which escaped from the laboratory. Unfortunately for him, the dog has been infected with a virus which transfers Allen's persona into the dog's body, and vice versa. Allen is then faced with continuing the case, and important relationships with his family, and most significantly, with his wife. She thinks he has left; instead, he's with her, only in canine form!...
