Miscellaneous: Actors in the film pronounce "Vallejo," the name of the town, the way outsiders tend to -- they assume it's "Vuh - lay - ho." Locals, however, which would definitely include police and even San Francisco reporters, pronounce it "Vuh - lay - o." (more)

Screenwriter Shane Salerno optioned the Robert Graysmith book "Zodiac" when he was just nineteen years old and developed it with Graysmith for several years before selling it to Disney's Touchstone Pictures in a seven figure deal.
